Jason Colapietro is an engineer, author, and the founder and CEO of Suede AI, which he founded in 2024 in West Palm Beach, Florida. Suede AI is an agentic platform company: it builds and runs AI agent platforms that businesses use to manage their work, and white-labels them for agencies and their clients. His engineering record is public. He has 54 pull requests merged across 46 open-source repositories he does not maintain, including Jest, Adobe React Spectrum, Backstage, the Polkadot SDK, Hardhat, the x402 Foundation and zeroclaw. He has written five books on Amazon Kindle, led by The Claude Code Bible and Codex in Production, his operator's guides to AI coding agents, and he has shipped 9 iOS apps under his own Apple developer account. Suede AI is a member of Claude for Startups, Anthropic's startup program, and was admitted to Stripe Startups; JC Investment Group LLC, with suedeai.ai as its verified domain, is a member of Google Cloud Partner Advantage. He has five U.S. provisional patent applications on file (patent pending). Before Suede, he built, ran, and sold call centers. He publishes under the pen name Johnny Suede.
