Suede AI is an agentic platform company founded in 2024 by engineer Jason Colapietro in West Palm Beach, Florida. It builds and runs AI agent platforms that businesses use to manage their work, and white-labels them for agencies and their clients.

The engineering is public: pull requests merged into Jest, Adobe React Spectrum, Backstage and the Polkadot SDK, and two operator’s guides, The Claude Code Bible and Codex in Production. Johnny Suede is the name on the essays and the music; Jason Colapietro is the person behind both.

A separate Linux kernel USB/IP contribution is recorded as Public upstream v7; it is not included in the merged-PR count. Adobe React Spectrum #10426 was accepted and later replaced by #10491; that entry records a historical contribution, not a currently shipped API.

Five published books, led by The Claude Code Bible and Codex in Production

The Amazon catalog of hardcover, paperback, and Kindle editions holds The Claude Code Bible and Codex in Production, the two operator's guides to AI coding agents, republished on KDP as Edition 2 on September 4, 2026, plus Proof as Infrastructure, Stake Your Claim, and The Human Authenticity Layer. Independent works include The Screenshot, free to read on the web with its source edition on GitHub; The Signal Chain; and The Guitar Without a Number, now incorporated into The Signal Chain.

9 iOS apps, 6 Android apps and 2 Chrome extensions

The portfolio includes 9 iOS apps under Jason’s developer account, including StoryBeam, 6 Android apps on Google Play, and 2 Chrome extensions. These are platform listings; Android editions overlap iOS products. Suede AI Visibility and Suede Sing are published on the Chrome Web Store.

Google Cloud Partner Advantage

JC Investment Group LLC became a member of Google Cloud Partner Advantage on September 4, 2026, with suedeai.ai as the verified domain. The membership is a second milestone in the Google Cloud partnership that began in September 2025.

Thirteen press placements across seven outlets

Gigawatt Group, MSN, TechBullion, Programming Insider, Altcoin Investor, and Indie Hackers have published coverage and founder essays about Suede AI, and Markets Insider carried a September 2026 company press release distributed by FinanceWire. The record includes Gigawatt Group’s September 2026 comparison of Suede AI’s managed GEO practice with Profound, the SEO and AI cohort announcement carried by MSN and, as that FinanceWire release, by Markets Insider, the on-chain IP authentication launch, the iOS and developer-tool launches, advancing in the Avalanche Build Games, creator ownership infrastructure, the IP visibility audit, and self-funded education deployments in African classrooms. Paul Rowe, founder of NeuralAdX Ltd, cites and links Suede AI SEO’s comparison of AI visibility monitoring tools and managed GEO implementation in The Three Pillars of AI Visibility, published October 9, 2026 and updated October 28, 2026. He uses it to explain that measuring citation gaps is a different job from shipping the technical, content and PR corrections those findings call for. A practitioner citation from an independent GEO specialist. Paul’s piece is a good read on why measuring AI visibility and fixing it are different jobs.
