Jason Colapietro is the founder and CEO of Suede Labs AI. His work brings together creator ownership, programmable intellectual property, music, and AI agent commerce. He writes and makes music under the creative alias Johnny Suede. Through Suede Labs AI, he builds tools around the questions that follow a creative work: who made it, what permissions travel with it, how it can be licensed, and how its creator gets paid. His writing explores these ideas alongside the practical work of building software with AI agents. His published books include Stake Your Claim, Proof as Infrastructure, and Suede Labs: The Human Authenticity Layer. His wider work includes music practice tools, developer skills, and research into how people and companies are represented in AI search.
